a The project came to light when a source pointed Axios to a page on the HarperCollins website that shows a temporary cover for a book by Comer with a provocative title, “All the President’s Money,” and an estimated publication date of September 10.
But there is no book imminent and no book deal, Comer’s staff told Axios.
HarperCollins said the link was posted in error and Rep. Comer asked for it to be removed.
The conversations for the book were apparently so long that a page was created for it and a publication date assigned.
It appears that Rep. Comer tried to use his evidence-free impeachment of Biden to raise money, which speaks volumes about Comer’s motives and why he pushed so hard to turn his evidence-free investigation into an impeachment reality.
Comer had a book deal on the line. No wonder he pushed for the president’s impeachment. The fact that Comer actively pursued a book deal while supposedly investigating the president smacks of a conflict of interest and potential corruption.
After Democrats gain the majority in the House of Representatives, they may have to investigate this impeachment attempt by Republicans, and whether any laws were broken by anyone in the current House majority.
